“RICH EXPERIENCE” PROGRAM IN TAIWAN

The first training session took place in Ho Chi Minh City on March 15, 2018 with the theme “Effective Customer Care.” Led by Mr. Ho Han Dan (PhD in Business Administration, Tarlac State University, Philippines and instructor of BMG Business Training), the training focused on the topics of effective customer care and problem  solving when encountering difficult customers.

Not only learning new knowledge from the trainer, the participants also had a chance to learn from each other’s experience and share their passion as well as stories about the difficulties they encountered when first starting a career in bakery.

“To get customers to remember our shop, we  always put customers before revenue,” said Mrs. Ta Thi Thu – the owner of Vu Phuc Baking company, Madam Thu Bakery and Thu Baker’s Mart. “We must understand the needs of the customers to be successful.”

At the end of the training session, Mr. Eddy Chan, President of Rich Products Vietnam and Indonesia, shared his take on the success factors of the business. According to him, customers don’t just want high quality products; they also expect high quality customer service from the seller. That is why we always have to bring customers a sense of certainty and credibility  with our products.

The highlight of the “Rich Experience” program is the 3-day trip to Taiwan (March 16-18, 2018). During this time, the group got to attend the Bakery Show, where all the latest bakery trends in Asia gathered.

Not only getting new cake ideas from the exhibition, the participants also got to enjoy the unique cuisine of Taiwan and visit some famous attractions such as Taipei 101 tower or Shifen and Jiufen old towns. Most memorable was the trip to the  traditional pineapple bakery (a specialty of Taiwan). The participants got to attend a short class on how to make this cake.

“The trip to Taiwan has given me a lot of new experiences and useful information about the food industry, especially the new food and beverage trends,” said Thanh Tam Nhu – Rich’s wholesaler in Phan Thiet. “This is the first time I’ve been on a trip like this. I had the opportunity to meet with many other distributors, which helped me expand my  social network and learn from them.”

The three days in Taiwan, although not long, left the participants with joy and interesting memories. Someone were happy to learn new things. Others were more interested in making new friends and opportunities for future collaborations and development. The most important thing is that all of our customers today have become a great family under the roof of Rich Products Vietnam, united and growing stronger together.
